What this means is we do the following;
| First - We Interpret
the Physicians Prescription |
| Second - We then add
pertinent Patient Information and review what other medications
currently being taken, drug allergies, intolerances, medical
conditions and any other information needed for a successful
outcome to the treatment prescribed. |
| Third - We prepare
the prescription and label it with clear & concise directions. |
| Last - We inform the
patient on how to best derive the benefits from the medication to
achieve the intended therapeutic outcome. (written & verbal means

technicians help prepare prescriptions under supervision from a
pharmacist, under regulations enforced by the Manitoba Pharmaceutical
Association.
